Introduction

My life has me in a variety of roles from mother, teacher, actress, writer and therapist. My personal chronic pain journey has led me to the therapy I do today. In 1996, after undergoing 2 total hip reconstructions, then again in 2000, I gained post-operative knowledge and the many levels of response the body has to trauma/surgical intervention.

I see myself as a facilitator assisting the body's innate intelligence to rebalance. Training the voice and body as an actress for 20 years has given me the initial insights into how the physical is interactive with the emotional, mental and spiritual parts of ourselves. All play an integral role in a healthy body.

As a Therapist my role ultimately is to address dis-ease in the body.  Be it in the tissues or in the nervous system.  My wish is to end all suffering in whatever way I can.  My intention is to create balance and harmony on all levels so that the window of healing can occur.

An individual may have to address a variety of ways to achieve inner balance:  breath work, homeopathy, being in nature, relearning positive thoughts, cranial sacral, or acupuncture to name a few.  We become explorers.

These books are tools for inner Peace.  There are a variety of techniques, meditations, exercises, spiritual understandings I have learned from my teachers that have supported me in my pain journey.
